Memorex Mini DVD+RW are small 8cm format discs developed for use with DVD+RW camcorders as well as regular DVD+RW/+R drives and recorders, where they fit into the small inner tray of the drive or player. 4X Mini DVD+R media are re-writable, single-sided discs that can store up to 1.4GB of data and 30 minutes of video. Each disc can be reliably rewritten up to 1,000 times.
Recording times of up to 120 minutes of video can be available depending on the recorder. Consumers can transfer home movies from VHS or 8mm cassettes, back-up computer hard drives and large files. The disc must be initialized before recording and finalized after completion of recording process.
DVD+RW media can be used in DVD Recorders supporting DVD+R/RW recording. They are backwardly compatible with 2.4X drives with a firmware upgrade, which can be downloaded at www.dvdrwservices.com.
