Memorex Inkjet Printable Surface DVD-R allows you to print directly onto DVD-R discs using direct printing inkjet printers, providing a professional disc print. Transfer home movies from VHS or 8mm cassettes and large files onto 16X media in nearly half the time of 8X media – the fastest burn time and the highest performance available.
The new 16X DVD-R media packs are write-once, single-sided discs. Consumers can now record a full two hours of video in approximately 6 minutes – making Memorex 16X DVD media the fastest way to save movies, music, images and data on DVD discs. Recording times of up to 480 minutes of video can be available depending on the recorder.
The new 16X media is backward compatible with respective 12X, 8X and 4X drives. 2X DVD-R drives may need a firmware upgrade to record 16X DVD-R, which can be downloaded at http://www.dvdhs.com/. With larger storage capacities on DVD media, users can store at least 6.5 times more than on a CD-R/RW.
